Why I Shoot
I grew up between cultures, and photography became the way I made sense of that. My work lives at the intersection of documentary honesty and cinematic care. I don't manufacture moments; I learn to read a room well enough that I'm there when they happen.
Client work ranges from Minneapolis weddings and portrait sessions to commissioned documentary projects across East Africa and the Twin Cities. But the personal work, the analog rolls from Kenya and Tanzania, the quiet winters on the North Shore, that's where I find out what I actually believe about photography.
I keep my calendar intentionally small. Every client I take on gets my full attention.
